Random Thoughts, And Stories From The Road

Hot Nights And Cold Beer

Wow what a crazy past couple of weeks! First we stopped at one of our favorite clubs Joyland in Bradenton Florida for a fun weekend then we headed as far south as you can go...Key West baby! Our gig here is pretty fun, we have been playing at Cowboy Bills right on the main strip (Duval ST.) every night and it has been crazy! So many tourists its a different crowd every night, or so we thought by Thursday night we started seeing a ton of familiar faces in the crowd. We had people consistently coming back and telling us how much fun the music and chemistry was.

Now were playing out doors every night and by the second song were pretty much all drenched to the bone! However the people here are very nice and it seems every few songs a fresh bucket of beer is being brought up to the stage!  I think we all agree that one of the best highlights of the week was this past Saturday Night. We were playing our new original song called Holdin On,  and about half way through the second chorus we noticed that the crowd was singing along! There is no greater feeling as an artist than to have a crowded group of people singing one your songs back to you.

Cheers from the road and thank yall for the continued support!

Certain Songs....

Just wondering if any of y'all have certain songs that take you back to a place as a child? I know we as a band will talk sometimes about how a certain Garth Brooks or George Strait song can trigger a fond memory of a summer cook out, or a child hood day at the lake. Sometimes we get a good feeling when we hear a song and it takes you back to a good time and you cant explain it, but it just seems familiar. We hope someday that some of our songs can have that impact.

If you have any certain songs that trigger a specific memory, or it takes you back to a place in time, we would love to hear about it. Share it in a comment below.
